AI 'Nurse' takes over oxygen control for critical patients
NCT ID NCT06952816
Summary
This study is testing a new AI-powered device called EMILY for patients with serious breathing problems. The device automatically adjusts a patient's oxygen supply to keep their blood oxygen levels in a safe range, aiming to reduce errors and alert medical staff if problems arise. Researchers are enrolling 20 hospitalized adults to see how well, quickly, and safely the device works compared to manual adjustments.
