First seen May 14, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study will test a new AI tool that automatically finds and measures dangerous fatty plaques in heart arteries using CT scans. Researchers will check if the AI can spot high-risk plaques as well as special ultrasound probes do, and whether it helps predict future heart problems. About 2000 adults with coronary artery disease will take part across multiple hospitals in China.
