AI second opinion for colonoscopies: can software spot cancer risk?
NCT ID NCT07470827
Summary
This study is testing a new computer program designed to help doctors during colonoscopies. The software analyzes images from the procedure to automatically find growths and tell doctors how likely they are to be pre-cancerous (adenoma) or non-cancerous (non-adenoma). Researchers are looking back at images from over 1,100 patients to see if the AI tool is accurate and reliable enough to support doctors' decisions.
