First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tests whether a computer-aided detection system can help doctors find more polyps (small growths) in the right side of the colon during a colonoscopy. About 686 adults aged 40-75 will have two colonoscopies in one session, with the AI system used in one of them. The goal is to see if the AI reduces the number of polyps that are missed on the first look.
