Could a chatbot be your drinking coach? early study tests AI for alcohol help
NCT ID NCT07214831
Summary
This study is testing whether a chatbot powered by AI (like ChatGPT) can be a helpful and acceptable tool for young adults (ages 18-29) who drink at risky levels. Researchers want to see if people will use the chatbot and find it easy and helpful, as a first step before larger studies. The main goal is to check if this digital approach is feasible, not to prove it reduces drinking yet.
