Summary
This study tests whether an AI tool that summarizes patient charts can reduce the mental workload for doctors before they see a patient. About 284 outpatient doctors at UCLA Health will either use the tool or continue their usual routine for 90 days. The goal is to see if the AI helps doctors prepare for visits more efficiently, potentially reducing stress and saving time.
