AI blood test aims to predict colon cancer severity, guide chemo decisions

NCT ID NCT07255729

Summary

This study is developing a new blood test that uses artificial intelligence to analyze tiny genetic signals from tumors. The goal is to more accurately identify patients with high-risk colon cancer before they have surgery, which could help doctors decide who might benefit from receiving chemotherapy first. Researchers will test the new method on blood samples from 400 people with colon cancer.
