AI steps into the operating room to guide surgeons in delicate cancer removal
NCT ID NCT07392268
Summary
This study is testing a new AI system designed to help surgeons during a minimally invasive procedure to remove early-stage cancers in the digestive tract. The AI provides real-time guidance, highlighting safe areas to cut and warning of risks like blood vessels, aiming to make the surgery safer and more precise. The trial will involve 60 patients with early lesions in their esophagus, stomach, or colon to see if the AI system improves surgical outcomes and reduces complications.
