First seen Mar 17, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study is testing whether an artificial intelligence (AI) system can help doctors more accurately diagnose colorectal adenomas (a type of colon polyp) during colonoscopies. The AI will analyze images from the procedure to predict the risk level of the polyps. About 4,000 adults who need a colonoscopy will take part, and the goal is to see if the AI can improve diagnosis and help doctors make better treatment decisions.
