NCT ID NCT07230431
First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated Jun 06, 2026 · Updated 30 times
Summary
This study tests a new AI system that helps doctors perform bronchoscopy—a procedure where a thin tube is inserted into the lungs—in patients with severe pneumonia. The AI provides real-time visual and voice guidance to locate the right lung areas and describe findings, but doctors make all decisions. About 100 adults across 10 hospitals in China will take part to see if AI improves diagnostic accuracy and reduces procedure time.
