First seen Nov 17, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tests a new AI system that helps doctors perform bronchoscopy (a procedure to look inside the lungs) in 100 adults with severe pneumonia. The AI provides real-time visual and voice guidance to locate the right lung areas and describe findings, but doctors make all decisions. The goal is to see if AI assistance improves diagnostic accuracy and procedure safety compared to standard care.
