AI Co-Pilot for lung doctors: can computers help find pneumonia faster?
NCT ID NCT07230431
Summary
This study is testing whether an AI guidance system helps doctors perform bronchoscopy exams more accurately in patients with severe pneumonia. The system provides visual cues and voice prompts during the procedure to help locate the correct area of the lung, but doctors make all final decisions. Researchers will compare results from about 100 patients across multiple hospitals to see if AI assistance improves diagnostic accuracy and procedure efficiency.
