Your phone could spot a surgical infection before you do
NCT ID NCT07391735
Summary
This study is testing a smartphone app designed to help doctors monitor surgical wounds remotely. After certain pain-management surgeries, some participants will use the app to take photos of their wound and answer questions. An AI program will analyze the photos to predict infection risk, which a doctor will review. The goal is to see if this remote monitoring can help catch problems early without needing extra in-person visits.
