First seen Apr 04, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study tests whether an artificial intelligence (AI) system can help radiologists interpret chest X-rays more accurately and quickly. About 16,000 adults with suspected lung conditions like pneumonia, tuberculosis, or lung cancer will take part. The AI is designed to assist doctors, not replace them, with the goal of reducing errors and speeding up diagnosis.
