NCT ID NCT07183124

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study tests whether an AI-powered 3D imaging system can more accurately predict if rectal cancer has spread to the edge of the tissue that surgeons remove. Researchers will use CT scans from 1,500 patients to train the AI and compare its results with standard MRI and pathology reports. The goal is to help doctors stage the cancer more precisely and plan better treatments.
