First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study follows 600 adults living in two different neighborhoods in Texas to see if living in an 'agrihood' (a community with farms and gardens) leads to healthier eating, more physical activity, and better heart health compared to a regular neighborhood. Researchers will measure things like diet, exercise, weight, blood pressure, and blood sugar over time. The goal is to understand how community design can support healthier lifestyles.
