First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study follows 50 adults and children who are starting long-term parenteral nutrition (nutrition given through a vein). Researchers will measure a type of sugar-related waste called AGEs in the skin over 12 months to see how much builds up. The goal is to understand health risks linked to this buildup, not to test a treatment.
