First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tests whether inhaling the scent of agarwood (a fragrant wood) during sleep can improve sleep quality and reduce fatigue in hospital staff. About 78 employees will use either an agarwood sachet or a placebo (almond oil) sachet near their bed for 7 nights. The goal is to see if this simple, non-invasive therapy can help busy healthcare workers feel better and perform safer.
