New drug aims to boost healing in back surgery
NCT ID NCT06115512
Summary
This study is testing if a single dose of an experimental drug, AGA111, can help patients heal better after spinal fusion surgery for severe lower back pain. About 400 adults who have not gotten relief from other treatments will have the drug or a placebo applied during their surgery. The main goal is to see if AGA111 improves the success rate of the fusion and reduces pain and disability compared to the placebo.
