Major eye drug study tracks 2500 patients in Real-World settings
NCT ID NCT06075147
Summary
This study collects real-world data on how well aflibercept 8 mg eye injections work for people with vision loss from two common eye conditions: neovascular age-related macular degeneration (nAMD) and diabetic macular edema (DME). Researchers will follow 2500 patients who are already prescribed this medication by their own doctors, tracking changes in their vision over up to two years. The goal is to understand the treatment's effectiveness in everyday medical practice, not in a controlled clinical trial.
