Sticky patch vs stitch: race to get AF patients back on their feet

NCT ID NCT06627959

Summary

This study compares two standard methods for closing the small hole in the leg vein after a catheter procedure for atrial fibrillation (AF). Researchers want to see if using a special adhesive disc (StatSeal) helps patients get up and walk sooner and go home faster than the traditional stitch method. The goal is to find which technique leads to a smoother, more comfortable recovery for patients.
