Heart ablation success put to the test in new study

Summary

This study looks at how well a standard heart ablation treatment for atrial fibrillation (an irregular heartbeat) holds up over time. About 50 adults who need a second procedure to close a part of the heart called the left atrial appendage will have their initial ablation checked. Doctors will see if the ablation is still working and may do more if needed.
