Doctors analyze decade of data on rare, dangerous internal leaks
NCT ID NCT07299513
Summary
This study looks back at 10 years of patient records to understand how doctors at a major French hospital have treated a rare condition where an abnormal connection forms between the airway and digestive tract. Researchers will review the medical files of 100 adults treated between 2014 and 2023 to see what treatments worked best and how long patients lived after diagnosis. The goal is to learn from past experience to improve future care for this serious condition.
