First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 02, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study looks at how high-intensity aerobic exercise affects the way healthy adults feel pain. Researchers will measure pain thresholds and the body's natural pain-blocking systems in 60 participants aged 18-50. The goal is to understand if repeated intense exercise can strengthen the brain's ability to reduce pain, and how factors like optimism and anxiety play a role.
