NCT ID NCT07415395
First seen Feb 22, 2026 · Last updated May 05, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looked at how different levels of aerobic exercise affect leg strength and power in 18 elite male youth gymnasts aged 15 to 18. Each gymnast did three types of treadmill running—high-intensity intervals, moderate steady running, and low-intensity jogging—on separate days. Their jumping and strength were measured before and 15 minutes after each session to see which intensity best preserves performance. The findings aim to help coaches plan better warm-ups and training sequences.
