Simple exercise may cut heart risks for dialysis patients

Summary

This study looks at whether a 6-week aerobic exercise program can lower uric acid levels and improve daily function and quality of life in people on hemodialysis. Thirty-two patients aged 40 to 60 will be randomly assigned to either exercise or standard care. The goal is to find a safe, drug-free way to reduce heart and joint risks common in dialysis patients.
