First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study looked at whether a simple aerobic exercise program could help earthquake survivors with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and poor sleep. 82 adults living in temporary shelters were randomly assigned to either a supervised exercise group (twice a week for three weeks) or a control group. Researchers measured PTSD symptoms and sleep quality before and after the program to see if exercise made a difference.
