First seen Apr 24, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a simple aerobic exercise program could help earthquake survivors feel better. 82 adults living in temporary shelters were randomly assigned to either a supervised exercise group or a control group. The exercise group did moderate-intensity aerobic workouts twice a week for three weeks. Researchers measured PTSD symptoms and sleep quality before and after the program to see if exercise made a difference.
