Can exercise reboot the Parkinson's brain? new trial investigates

NCT ID NCT07478146

Summary

This study aims to see if a 12-week supervised aerobic exercise program can improve brain blood flow, thinking skills, walking, and overall well-being in people with mild to moderate Parkinson's disease. Forty participants will be randomly assigned to either follow the exercise program or continue with their usual care. Researchers will measure changes in brain function, movement, mood, and quality of life to understand how exercise might help manage the condition.
