First seen Mar 27, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a personalized aerobic exercise program can reduce cardiovascular risk in adults with chronic kidney disease or rheumatoid arthritis. Participants will do three 45-minute exercise sessions per week for six weeks. Researchers will measure artery stiffness, blood vessel function, and inflammation to see if exercise helps. The study compares the exercise group to a group that only gets educational phone calls and a group with no extra support.
