Summary

This study looked at whether aerobic exercise (like walking or jogging) can improve thinking skills and brain health in older adults who have recovered from depression. 46 people aged 60 and older with a history of late-life depression participated. Researchers measured changes in fitness, brain structure, and memory after 6 months of exercise.
