NCT ID NCT06990269
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests an experimental drug called ADX-038 in 240 people with geographic atrophy, a form of advanced age-related macular degeneration that causes blind spots. The drug is given as a shot under the skin and is compared to a placebo to see if it can slow the loss of a key layer in the retina. Participants must have a certain size of retinal damage and be willing to get required vaccinations.
