New targeted cancer therapy begins first human testing

This is the first human study of an experimental cancer drug called M7437, which targets a specific protein found on certain tumor cells. The study will test the safety, side effects, and early effectiveness of M7437 in 138 people with advanced solid tumors that have stopped responding to standard treatments. Researchers will gradually increase doses to find the safest and most effective amount for future studies.
