New trial aims to zap lung cancer faster, with fewer side effects

Summary
This study is testing if a more precise, faster radiation treatment can better control advanced lung cancer that cannot be surgically removed. It will compare this new approach to the current standard method, both combined with chemotherapy and a year of immunotherapy. The main goal is to see if patients can complete the more intense treatment plan and if it is safe and effective at keeping the cancer from returning.
