Shorter, stronger radiation tested for tough head and neck cancers

NCT ID NCT06641791

Summary

This study is testing whether a newer, more precise form of radiation therapy works better than standard radiation for people with advanced head and neck cancer who are not candidates for curative treatment. It will compare a shorter course of stronger, targeted radiation (SBRT) against the usual longer radiation schedule. The main goal is to see if the newer approach helps patients live longer while managing side effects and quality of life.
