New DNA tech hunts hidden causes of devastating childhood seizures

Summary
This study is testing a more advanced genetic test to find the hidden causes of severe epilepsy in children. It will enroll 20 children whose epilepsy has no known genetic cause despite previous standard testing. The goal is to see if this new technology can provide answers that lead to better, more personalized treatment plans for these children and their families.
