First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study looks at whether having group discussions about advance care planning helps older adults (70+) document their healthcare wishes. About 516 participants will either join two group sessions led by a doctor and social worker or just receive mailed materials. The goal is to see if the group approach leads to more completed advance directives and medical orders in their health records.
