Helping young patients voice their wishes before risky transplants

Summary
This study is exploring whether structured conversations about future care preferences are helpful and acceptable for young adults (ages 18-39) undergoing stem cell transplants and their caregivers. Participants will have three guided discussions over several weeks to talk about their values, fears, and goals for care, and will complete surveys about their experience. The goal is to understand if these conversations improve communication and comfort with planning for serious illness.
