Study aims to give voice to homeless seniors in medical decisions
NCT ID NCT06239896
Summary
This study is testing two different ways to help formerly homeless older adults plan for their future medical care while living in supportive housing. Researchers will compare whether group sessions or one-on-one meetings work better to help 650 participants document their healthcare wishes. The goal is to ensure their medical preferences are known and respected, especially since this group faces higher mortality rates and often lacks such planning.
