Researchers investigate why adult bowels sometimes telescope
NCT ID NCT07238166
Summary
This study aims to understand what causes intussusception in adults, a rare condition where one part of the intestine slides into another. Researchers will follow 35 adult patients at Assiut University Hospital to determine whether benign or cancerous growths are more common, and how well imaging tests predict the actual cause. The findings could help doctors better diagnose and treat this condition.
