Major cancer trial tests aggressive combo to stop rare adrenal Cancer's return

Summary
This study aims to find the best drug treatment to prevent cancer from returning after surgery for high-risk adrenocortical carcinoma, a rare and aggressive adrenal gland cancer. It will compare a single hormone-blocking drug against that same drug combined with two chemotherapy drugs. About 240 patients who have recently had surgery will be randomly assigned to one of these two treatment plans and followed to see which approach keeps them cancer-free longer.
