Doctors dig through old records to find clues for slowing kidney disease
NCT ID NCT06193616
Summary
This study aims to understand what patient characteristics can predict how quickly kidney function declines in people with a genetic kidney disease called ADPKD. Researchers will look back at the medical records of 70 patients who already received a specific long-term treatment called octreotide LAR. The goal is to learn which factors, like initial kidney size, are most linked to long-term outcomes to help guide future care.
