Scientists hunt for early clues to predict kidney failure in genetic disease

NCT ID NCT07217158

Summary

This study aims to find early warning signs in blood and urine that can predict how quickly a genetic kidney disease will worsen. Researchers will collect samples and perform an MRI scan from 100 patients with Autosomal Dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease (ADPKD). The goal is to identify markers that signal future kidney damage long before current tests can, which could help guide future treatments.
