Breakthrough trial aims to slash teen suicide rates in High-Risk region
NCT ID NCT06465381
Summary
This study is testing two different mental health programs in Mozambican high schools to see which works better at preventing suicidal thoughts and behaviors in teenagers. It will involve about 2100 students who are experiencing suicidal thoughts. One program is a brief safety planning session, while the other combines that with a longer cognitive behavioral therapy course, both delivered by trained non-specialists.
