First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study examines whether certain substances in saliva can help predict how long concussion symptoms will last in teenagers aged 13-18. Researchers will track 750 teens with mild concussions to see if these markers can identify who will have persistent symptoms 30 days after injury. The goal is to better understand recovery patterns and potentially guide future care.
