Zapping ADHD away? brain stimulation trial offers hope beyond medication

NCT ID NCT04532190

Summary

This study is testing whether magnetic brain stimulation can reduce ADHD symptoms in children as an alternative to standard medications. Researchers will deliver magnetic pulses to the brain five times per week for four weeks to children ages 9-15 with ADHD. The goal is to see if this non-invasive approach improves attention and reduces symptoms without the side effects common with ADHD drugs.
