Hidden ADHD: study reveals undiagnosed cases in adults with mental health issues

NCT ID NCT04943796

Summary

This study aimed to find out how often ADHD is missed in adults who already have another diagnosed mental health condition. Researchers assessed 224 adults across multiple countries who had a psychiatric disorder but no prior ADHD diagnosis. They checked for ADHD and then followed those diagnosed to see how their quality of life and symptoms changed over 9 months with their regular care.
