New hope for the 'Double Diagnosis': common ADHD drug tested for depression relief

NCT ID NCT06967857

Summary

This study is testing whether a stimulant medication, dexamfetamine, can help adults who have both ADHD and moderate to severe depression. Researchers will compare two different pill formulations (one long-acting, one short-acting) against a placebo (sugar pill) in 105 participants. The main goal is to see if the medication is safe and if it can improve symptoms of both conditions.
