Summary

This study looked at whether a brain-computer interface (BCI) training program, which uses brain signals to control game-like tasks, could help school-age children with ADHD improve their attention and self-control. Researchers compared the training alone, training combined with common ADHD medications (methylphenidate or citicoline), and medication alone to see which approach worked best. The study involved 174 children and was conducted in a real-world clinical setting to reflect typical treatment choices.
