Summary

This trial tests whether a targeted nerve block, called an adductor canal block, can reduce leg pain after coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) when a leg vein is used as a graft. About 120 adults scheduled for CABG will receive either the block with a numbing medication or a sham injection. Researchers will measure leg pain at rest over the first 24 hours and track total opioid use for 48 hours after surgery.
