New drug targets Hard-to-Treat cancers with missing gene

Summary
This study tests a drug called adavosertib in 18 adults with advanced solid tumors that have a missing SETD2 gene. The drug works by blocking enzymes that cancer cells need to grow. The goal is to see if it can shrink or control tumors in people who have already tried other treatments.
